Ampeg output tubes

These are 6550 output tubes especially for the Ampeg bass heads. These tubes have been tested to ensure that they can withstand the high anode voltage found in these Ampeg Products without breaking down or flashing over.

They are matched as a hex set to ensure easy biasing and burnt-in to minimise drift in the bias usually experienced over the first few weeks when sets of valves are fitted.

Batches of valves are tested from time to time to ensure they meet our strict criteria.
