Mackie SRM1801 Repair Service

Please Note: This auction is for the repair of your Mackie SRM1801 Amplifier Module. Our upgrade includes a replacement re-manufactured Low Frequency driver, we require your old driver in exchange but the basket and magnet must not be damaged.

All SRM1801’s are totally reworked by us and effectively upgraded. The impedance of the original driver is incorrectly rated for the output power of the unit. As such our upgrade includes a replacement re-manufactured LF driver as well as modifications to the power supply & main amplifier sections sections. This includes adding our own custom totem driver sub-board to the output stage.

Where others replace the main board we actually repair to component level which means; a) a much more reliable repair, and b) a much cheaper repair. A board replacement would only be considered if the board was damaged in such a way that it rendered it unsafe, or if the board has been contaminated in some way, both these instances are very rare and any replacement board would still require our upgrade. If this is the case we would contact you first before proceeding with the repair.

As a matter of course our upgrade includes replacing parts which we have found through our experience are common to fail. Therefore our repairs generally make the units much more reliable. Our repairs typically come with the 1 year warranty (please read our T’s & C’s below). As well as carrying stock of replacement spare parts for most Mackie products, including cabinet spares, we also have in stock low frequency drivers and high frequency compression drivers.
